So I start my new job on the 28th and I want to do a “get to know Dave” video. I have a couple of thoughts, but I want to know some of your ideas.
Here are the parameters:
Funny, 2:00 minutes or less, and embarrasing.
My idea was a 50’s style announcer introducing me, my passions and skills. All the while I am fumbling awkwardly with a Camcorder. Then, I’m in the edit bay looking confused. Finally I turn around and wisper “I have no idea what I’m Doing”… and the announcer chuckles and closes with… “He’s so modest”… pulls away from the Microphone and says. Where did they find this idiot?!?
That’s what I came up with… What would you do?

If you are into media you have most likely heard of Barna Films. An incredible resource for churches with an all you can eat price of $999.00. I think this is crazy affordable but, maybe not for you!!
ChurchyMike was hunting around the other day and found Shift Worship. I had never heard of them so I dove in head first this morning and wow, I likey!!
They offer the usual motions, stills, mini movies and countdowns. Where this got exciting for me was the price tag. Unlimited downloads for $99.00 a year!! WHAT?? For any small church this should be a no brainer. Go check it out!!
Some emails and phone calls have been trickling in about the WIBO DVD’s. First things first, they are at the DVD Duplcation company as I write this. They will approve all of the artwork and then begin the duplication process.
I should have the Discs back by JULY 9 and will begin shipping orders on the 10th. I will ship them USPS.
