Being Relevant Without Missing the Mark

I foam at the mouth when checking out LifeChurch and Grainger or7:22, but I found myself wondering if that will work for us.
We all know if we “cookie cutter” what someone else is doing it will bomb if we don’t make it our own.  All of those ministries do what works for their situation.  Being a media guy I always want the latest and greatest for our ministry but I want to ask, what if you have the money and the resources to pull off those wow services and you’re just not growing?  
The answer truly is easy.  Ministry at its core is simple.  Sometimes we put to much effort into wow and not enough into go!!  All throughout scripture Christ just spent time with people.  He loved people enough to plug into them. 
Are you like me, sometimes just going for the wow, and forgetting to do ministry?  Something we can’t forget… Keep the main thing the main thing.
