500 gigs in the Palm of Your Hand!

My new toy arrived in the mail today!!  Everything I shoot is in HDV, so when capturing video in to my computer I don’t want to lose any frames.  I always use a firewire external drive to import video!!  The main reason is that thankfully I never have to defrag on a Mac…. wellll, as long as you don’t do heavy video editing.  I do!  So I learned a long time ago to capture everything externally.  For me that always meant a huge and bulky drive to carry around everywhere and I always needed power!!  

That all ended today!!  I got a rugged drive from Lacie. 500 gigs of goodness!! It’s USB, Firewire 400/800 and it can be powered by any of those inputs!!!!  Gone is the extra cord and power brick!
