It’s time for some holiday ideas (with ministry benefits of course!)
Let’s start with video. (like I would start anywhere else) There are two new exciting products worth mentioning. First is the Flip Mino HD.

Flip Video is breaking into the consumer HD camcorder market with their update to the popular Flip Mino, the Flip Mino HD. This was just released last week for $229.00. It ships with a 4GB drive, double that of the Flip Mino. It needs those extra GBs to handle the 1280x720 video. It will give you 60 mins of video. My favorite addition to these cameras is they are designable. You can choose from their design library, upload your own image, or the Pattern Generator. It’s available now at Amazon until Nov. 26 with an included tripod.
Next is a Pocket Projector. A pocket projector? Are you kidding? This isn’t just a new product - it’s a whole new product category. It’s a long-awaited, much-rumored projector from Optomo about the size of a cellphone: 2 by 4.1 by 0.7 inches, weighing 4.2 ounces. ($430 list price)

It comes with a special composite cable. On one end, there’s a special, tiny audio-video pin that goes into the projector. On the other end, you’ll find the familiar three-headed, red-white-yellow RCA cables. These are female jacks, made to mate with the male composite cables that come with just about every DVD player, VCR, game console, digital camera and camcorder ever sold. Goes on sale in two weeks.
